WHo can attend the welcome party on Saturday?
The welcome party is open to all of the guests we’ve invited to our wedding. It starts at 7:30 pm saturday, May 25th. Please join us at Giusto if you can make it. we’d love to see you there!
WHERE IS THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held onsite at Shepherd’s Run. We will be having an after party in Downtown Newport at Cabana.
What should i wear? What’s the attire for each event?
welcome party: Cocktail Attire
Women can wear midi or short dresses as well as elegant separates (skirt + shirt combo). For short dresses or elegant separates, we’d ask that they lean on the dressy side.
Men can wear a suit without or without a tie (either is perfect) or a light sport jacket, button-down shirt and relaxed chinos are fine.
wedding: black Tie optional
women are more than welcome to wear a floor-length dress and we’d love to see that, but if you prefer a dressy, cocktail dress, that’s totally fine too. We just ask you lean on the dressier side with midi or floor length dresses vs. short cocktail dresses.
While it’s not required, We’d love to see men in tuxes! If you’re not wearing a tux, we ask that you please wear a dark colored suit.
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED during the weekend?
Yes! We will be providing transportation to and from event venues throughout the course of the weekend.
Welcome Party
GIUSTO | 4 commercial wharf, Newport RI
we are offering transportation from Shepherds Run to giusto in downtown Newport and transportation will be provided back to Shepherds run after the event.
For others staying in downtown Newport or the surrounding area, you can either walk, drive or take an Uber/Lyft to Giusto.
If you are Driving…Parking is available at Hammetts Hotel valet for a fee that changes seasonally and there are a few other free parking lots within a few minute walk of Giusto. See below.

Shepherds Run
we will be providing transportation to and from Shepherds Run from the Newport Marriott Hotel, Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites and will be making a stop for any guests staying at the Holiday Inn or Fairfield Suites which are a few minutes away from the venue.
We will post more information the week of the wedding once the schedule is finalized on times for pickup and drop off times.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE on the wedding day?
We are still finalizing the timeline and schedule so we will update this as we get closer to the event. However, we will ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes and no more than 30 minutes before the ceremony to park, grab a cocktail, and find a seat!
